It's all Gouda - Donut Worry!

Elizabeth Craft Designs has some new and FUN "pun" stamps - called Cute Food.  Here's what I created with them:

Ha!  So cute and funny!  Elizabeth Craft Designs also has coordinating dies to make them super easy to use in all sorts of ways!  The paper is from the Manly Man 12x12 collection.  I stamped with sentiments on Stitched Fishtail Banner dies (and just cut off the fishtail).  The "frames" around the images are done with the Fitted Circles and Dotted Scallop Circle dies.

I stamped the images onto Kraft cardstock and then colored with Copic:  BG72, BG75, W0, Y23, Y26, Y00, and Y02.

Hugs for Valentine's Day

I've got a tutorial up over at the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog today.  With Valentine's Day just about a week away, I wanted to make something fun, red and full of love!  Here's what I did!

I used their Simply Love paper, which is simply gorgeous.  I also used the brand new Laundry Party clear stamps and coordinating dies and the Berry Branch and Lace Heart Dies.  Love how this all turned out.  Be sure to check out the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog post for all the details!

Supplies:

Alpaca the Cake

Excited to be featuring a NEW Dare 2B Artzy stamp today over on their blog.  It's called Spit Happens:

Isn't she just the cutest?!?  The sentiment is from the Alpaca Cake collection (which also has another adorable Alpaca!)  I colored up the images with Copic markers:  G40, G43, RV53, RV55, BG53, BG57, W0, W2, W3, E31, E33, and Y26.

To create the sky, I used distress inks:  (from bottom up) Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, and Broken China.  I used the Earth and Sky Stencil from Elizabeth Craft Designs to create it.  I also used the Stitched RectangleStitched Circles, and Adventure Edges dies all from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Polka-Dot Fun

I'm posting a polka-dot card using products from Elizabeth Craft Designs:

Aren't those polka-dots fun?  Please note that I lined up all the polka-dots!  It's not perfect, but it was a challenge getting it close, so I want everyone to take note!!  (LOL)  The paper is from the Thinking About...Rio de Janeiro 12x12 collection.  That adorable little birdie was stamped from the Feathered Friends Clear Stamps and die cut with the coordinating dies.  I colored it with Copics:  RV63, RV66, B93, B95, YG11, YG13, YG25 and YR14.  The flower also has a little YG63 on it.  The sentiment is from the Banners Sentiments and is die cut using the Banners dies.  The pink pieces are cut using the Stitched Fishtail dies (even the one beneath the sentiment - I just cut off the ends.  The blue circle is cut with the Stitched Circles dies.

Thank you for stopping by!  My supplies list is below.

Love!

There's a new challenge at Dare 2B Artzy - All YOU Need is LoVe! Show us your creations!  Here's what I made using the Teddy Bear Hugs stamps.

So soft!  I created the background with Distress Oxide Inks and colored the bear with Copic markers.  The bear was cut out with the coordinating dies.  So easy.

Easter Pretty!

It's time for a new challenge at Paper Nest Dolls Challenges.  The challenges are anything goes.  While we love to see your Paper Nest Doll inspiration, it isn't required.  Join us!  I created an Easter pretty with Easter Bunny Emma!

I love how she turned out!  And....unfortunately, I forgot to write down the Copics I used to color her. Usually, I'm pretty good about that.

The paper is from the Elizabeth Craft Designs, called Fly & Scrap.  I think it may be one of my favorite collections ever!  So pretty!  I also used Dashing Squares dies from ECD.

Thanks for stopping by today!  And be sure to join the challenge for your chance at winning a fantastic prize!

Craftily yours,

Karen

You Fill My Heart - Designer Challenge

It's time for a new Designer Challenge over at Elizabeth Craft Designs!  There's a $20 gift card available to win over at the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.  All you have to do is answer a question on their blog!   Be sure to check it out at their blog for your chance to win!

This month, we are challenged to create a card with the theme:  You Fill My Heart.  I took it quite literally when I created this:

The paper I used is from the Fly & Scrap 12x12 collection, and I absolutely LoVe it!  The only paper on this card not from that collection is the card base and sentiment panel (which are 100lb Soft Finish Cardstock).

I die cut the heart using the Puzzle Heart Die. The sentiment is from the all-new Valentine's Sentiments collection.  The flower is from the Blooms & Leaves clear stamps and is colored with Copics:  R81, R83, R85, B32, B34, B45, V20, V22, V25, Y23, Y26, YG51, and YG63.  I die cut it with the coordinating dies.

I decided to add FuN to the inside using the General Pop-Ups.  These dies make it SO easy to create a fun pop-up (no measuring, scoring, etc!).  I die cut a piece of patterned paper using the Stitched Rectangles and then used it for the pop-up piece.  On it, I added another sentiment (and heart) - cut with the Stitched Rectangles.  I also added a few extra puzzle pieces adhered with very thin beading wire to make them "float" above the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by.  I am so thrilled with how this card turned out.  When I saw the puzzle die, this was my first thought; I think it turned out pretty cool!

Karen
